fans have slammed former Health Secretary as he appeared in the jungle for the first time last night, taking to social media to share memes over their frustration at the 'cringe' MP.
Matt Hancock faced an icy reception from his fellow campmates on arrival as they struggled to contain their shock at learning the identity of their newest campmate.
Viewers were left in stitches and code promo 1win cote divoire 'screaming' at some of the reactions, including that of Charlene White who later had a one-on-one with the MP where she asked him why he had come when Parliament was still sitting.
The public were no kinder as he emerged covered in slime, cockroaches and other creepy crawlies from his first Bushtucker trial before being picked to endure a second trial tonight.
But some viewers did have a more complimentary view of the MP and said he and Sean Walsh are 'hilarious'.
One viewer posted a photo of a spider seen during the programme captioned: 'Poor thing!

Trying to get away from Matt Hancock.'
Others mocked the West Suffolk MP's justification of wanting to prove MPs are 'human'.
Viewers were also left stunned after the MP confessed he is an Ed Sheeran fan and began singing Perfect - with some saying he has 'ruined' the artist for them.

During Wednesday's show, presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly poked fun at the the West Suffolk MP and wider goings on in UK politics.
Dec said: 'Now, just 18 months ago, Matt Hancock was a member of of the cabinet.

Creating policy, liaising with the Prime Minister, even running his own ministerial department.'
Ant added: 'Now he's sitting on a log, next to a giant toy mole with a flashing red nose, having just rinsed a load of cockroaches out of his bum crack.'
Dec said: 'A week really is a long time in politics isn't it?'
As he arrived, stars of the jungle failed to hide their emotions.
Chris Moyles had to take a second look, while Mike Tindall branded every word out of Mr Hancock's mouth as 'bull****' and Boy George threatened to leave over his new campmates appearance.
The celebrities didn't hesitate to interrogate Mr Hancock on his reasons for coming to the jungle, with him saying he had something to prove and wanted to show politicians were 'human'.

Campmate Charlene White told him: 'We've had stability for all of five minutes Matt', after he made the claim on the ITV show.

He proceeded to then sing the star's hit Perfect, which viewers labelled as 'cringe'.

As Hancock prepares for his second Bucktucker trial tonight, crew are reportedly holding a backstage sweepstake and betting on how many trials he will have to endure.
It comes after Wednesday evening during which Hancock, 44, admitted that he understood why people might be 'angry' at his decision to join the reality TV show, having come under fire for his decision to join the stars in the Australian jungle.
